Our Interpretive Signs: Our trailside interpretive signs answer visitor questions when you’re not there. We use high-quality resource images, durable metal bases, and short, powerful interpretive text to create visitor connections. Signs are a 6” x 12” Embedded Fiberglass which will rise 18”-26” above grade. Customers can order signs from our Interpretive Sign Library and even make minor tweaks to photos and font color with no added fees. Our interpretive writers can also customize signage to meet the specific needs of your park and visitors.

How to Develop Interpretive Signs: When you request our interpretive signs below, our team works with you to select signs from our library, or make a plan to develop potent interpretive text for your signs. Our designers will source high-quality resource images to pair with this text , and make minor adjustments for your branding if needed. Once you approve foundational design, text, and your new suite of signs, we’ll send them for manufacturing and get them shipped.

How to Install Interpretive Trailside Signs: Our signs bases don’t need concrete, they’re simply set below grade (depth depending on local frost lines) and their hole filled back in. This design speeds your installation (yay for not hauling concrete down trails!) and means signs are mobile if a plant dies and your sign needs to be relocated.

Pricing: Sign costs are based on volume discounts, regardless of their final shipped location, meaning multiple sites/parks can benefit from the same volume discounts.

  • 20 Signs - $225/Sign

  • 50 Signs - $199/Sign

  • 100 Signs - $175/Sign

  • 250 Signs - $150/Sign

We can bring your sign ideas to life with research and interpretive writing for modest additional costs. Deeper frost lines require deeper signs bases with slight increases to cost.

Next Steps: We want your visitors to understand the deeper significance of your site. Reach out and let us know which signs will be most relevant to your visitors.
