Louisiana State Parks

THE GOAL
Louisiana's Office of State Parks wanted to launch the tradition of passport-stamp collecting across its entire system for the first time — one book covering every state park and historic site, with a welcome page from the Lt. Governor to open it.

WHAT WE MADE
A 40-page passport spanning all 32 Louisiana parks and historic sites, printed in a first run of 1,000 copies with a green faux-leather cover and silver debossed foil stamping — plus a matching set of custom self-inking stamps, one per site.

THE DESIGN STORY
The debossed foil treatment we wanted for the cover couldn't hold onto Louisiana State Parks' intricate multicolor pelican logo, so we redrew it as a single-line silhouette for the back cover — then carried that same simplified mark onto each site's stamp, sized down to fit a passport just 3.5 by 5 inches.
