Lewisville Parks & Rec

THE GOAL
Lewisville Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) needed a way to turn its urban pollinator-habitat work, bioswales, and restored plantings into something visitors could actually read and understand.

WHAT WE MADE
We designed and fabricated plant ID markers, trailside interpretive signs, and wayside panels — black powder-coated aluminum, in-ground mounted — across Downtown, City Hall, and Lewisville's trail system.

THE DESIGN STORY
One wayside is titled "Why Don't You Mow?" — because that's the question an unmowed pollinator bed raises for the person walking past it. The waysides take on the why; the plant markers handle the what.

THE PROOF

"The Visitor Experience delivered exactly what we needed—professional, engaging signage that truly reflects our community's vision."
— Christopher Chastain, Lewisville Parks and Recreation Department
